Mahsuri and his ‘hazardous’ swimming trip
Last time, we went swimming with Mahsuri, he was enjoying himself very much. So, one fine Sunday morning, when both daddy and mommy are not tied down with work, we decided to bring both he and Budiman to the swimming complex near our house again. However, this time, for whatever reasons, he didn’t want to get off from his stroller to splash in the pool. Sigh… kids! They are as unpredictable as the weather…So, we just let budiman enjoy his swim this time round while the sulky brother sit watching from his stroller.

Datuk visits us
Every time, when Datuk came back from Pahang, West Malaysia, he will come and visit us. He would just sit beside the sofa couch and talk to Ayah, drink coffee and sometimes watch television with us. After that, he will head back to his own house before leaving fro Pahang the next day. He is a very quiet man compare to my Gong gong (mom’s dad) but I know he loves me and Bro Mahsuri alot, just like my nenek(dad’s mom), popo(mom’s mom) and gong gong.

A pre-National Day Family outing
Last Sunday on 3rd August, Kamal and I brought the boys out to play. We clad in red and white attire and head down to Esplanade to take some photos with the glass mural that Kamal had completed just the day before the outing. The glass panel mural is at the Esplanade Concourse entrance. Title of his work is “From All Walks of Life”. It’s a big birthday present from Esplanade to Singapore for it’s National Day. He chose passerbys or visitors to Esplanade to have a caricature done on the glass panel. There are altogether 43 faces to coincide with Singapore 43rd birthday this year. This project is his biggest project after the wall mural which he had did last year at TAPAC (Telok Ayer Performing Arts Centre). We wanted to take the photos to keep it as part of our children’s growing up memories. So, here are some of the photos taken:
