Fengping’s wedding Lunch

Filed under: Family — by flowerism @ 9:59 am

My Yoga classmate, Tham Fong Peng invited me and my family and Siow Peng and her hubby, Louis to her wedding lunch at One Degree 15 Marine Club which is situated at Sentosa Island. It was a nice event. The food was good and the restaurant view was scenic. And most importantly, the bride is very beautiful. A pity we didn’t get a good picture with her using our camera. So, will have to wait for the photos from the bride. Anyway, we had a great time. Mahsuri too had a great time running around and looking at the yachts and boats.

“Primary Colours” - a Feng Zheng Jie’s exhibition

This evening, Kamal and I were invited to the opening of the solo exhibition by Chinese artist Feng Zheng Jie at Singapore Art Museum. A truly inspiring art exhibition in quite a while.

To match the occasion, I wore my new Cheongsam bought at Yue Hwa. The beauty about these grand openings are that nobody stop us from taking photos with the masterpieces. I suppose its because there are simply too many important people i.e. rich collectors and patrons that’s also taking photos.

Family outing to Vivocity

Filed under: Family — by flowerism @ 4:56 pm

One of our favourite family hangouts is Vivocity shopping centre. It’s a direct train route for us from Serangoon to Harbour Front MRT station. Here are a few snapshots on one of the outings:

What a “NOSEY” family!

Filed under: Family — by flowerism @ 4:30 pm

Kamal bought this nosey spectacle frame just to amuse Mahsuri. However, everyone in the family except him likes the frame. Mahsuri is totally terrified by the weird-looking thing. Here’s the proof:

Some nice mornings my two sons - Mahsuri (Ma Ning) and Budiman (Ma Jing) spent together in the month of November…One of the fun things beside wrestling with each other is to doodle together… Here are some photos:

Family Night Outing at Orchard Road

Filed under: Family — by flowerism @ 11:44 am

It’s a family practice that every year, we will head down to Orchard Road to view the Christmas Lightings and also to have some snap-shots taken with the night scenery. This year, it is a handful for me as I am a mother of two now, with two boys fighting for attention. Hmm… ask me what’s my christmas wishes and I will tell you this: give me two more kids in years to come! :)

Angela came back for X’mas

Filed under: Family — by flowerism @ 9:42 am

Our dear friend and ex-colleague, Angela Ho is back from United Kingdom for winter vacation. Bel, Jamie, June and Eddino came to our house to have lunch and tea-time with her. Angela bought lots of presents for us. I especially like the chocolate-flavoured lip-gloss and the chintz-patterned flower pouch she bought for me. Angela also bought a nice CARS (Walt Disney’s animation movie) colouring book for Mahsuri and a donkey picture book for Budiman. Mahsuri enjoyed playing games with her. Jamie even teased her of qualifying as a nanny for me and June’s future child. We had a great time eating and chit-chatting. Kamal and I are looking forward to her return next September in 2008.

Kamal’s 40th Birthday Celebration

Filed under: Family — by flowerism @ 4:11 pm

We celebrated Kamal’s birthday at our place. Just my immediate family and us. The kids were thrilled as they get to taste three different types of cakes: 2 birthday cakes bought by my mom and my younger brother, and 40 cupcakes made by my youngest sister.
